We have bought a place there and we will
buy others to do up for rent !
The club is without doubt a bit "old" and in need of a spruce up but the
people are wonderful. The staff are great, some of them are
"outstanding",
We are members of both here and other nudist resorts and would say that the
"ambiance" of some of the others is considerably better than
here but in terms of overall costs and what you get for what you pay you
won't go further than paradise.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST VISIT TO A NUDIST
RESORT AND MY WIFE AND I WERE QUITE IMPRESSED. THE STAFF MADE US FEEL
COMFORTABLE FROM THE VERY FIRST ENCOUNTER AT THE FRONT DESK. WE HAD A
POOL SIDE MOTEL ROOM THAT MET OUR NEEDS SINCE WE SPENT MOST OF OUR TIME
ENJOYING EITHER THE TIKI BAR, POOLS, RESTAURANT OR NIGHT CLUB. WE
INITIALLY PLANNED TO STAY ONE NIGHT JUST TO TRY IT OUT AND RELUCTANTLY
WENT BACK TO NORTH CAROLINA AFTER A WEEK. WE FOUND ALL THE PEOPLE
FRIENDLY AND MADE SOME NICE FRIENDS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO OUR NEXT
VACATION AND WE WILL BE BACK AT PARADISE .

My wife and I were also "underwhelmed."
Our hotel room was a disappointment - clean but needing a rehab. We also found
the people hard to get to know. I guess it is a compliment to the
popularity of the resort, but there are not enough chairs around the
pool. I thought maybe it was because people would put a towel on a chair
and then disappear. That didn't seem to be the case, though. Just too
many people, too few chairs. The same was true about the nightclub. We
couldn't find a place to sit down so we danced a couple of numbers and
left. I agree with the comment about the people in the nightclub. It was
embarrassing to be around some of them with their rubbing and touching.
We visited the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and were satisfied
with the food and service.
We do not plan to go back.

My wife and I just returned from a long
weekend stay at Paradise Lakes. After hearing so much about it, we were
a little "underwhelmed."
The staff was very, very helpful and friendly, with the exception of the
housekeeping (one couple complained to management while we were there
that their room hadn't been cleaned in two days). Our accommodations
(Lakeside Condo) had really seen much better days. It needed a very
thorough cleaning and general remodel. I'd STRONGLY suggest that if
you're planning on going you specifically request to stay at a private
condo. Very nice spaces
- for very little extra money. (stay in a privately owned condo at K8.FLPARADISE.net)
The food in the restaurant was good, and the service was good with the
exception of one night when they seemed understaffed. Prices were
reasonable (we only ate dinners there - we brought our own stuff for
breakfast and lunch).
The nightclub was fun, if a little on the tacky side (all the women
seemed to be trying to outdo each other for the sluttiest attire - we
took it all in fun and enjoyed the show).
There is a strong swinger vibe, even though the management takes some
pains to at least appear to control behavior. There are signs posted
about behavior, and the welcoming brochure has a statement about "no
over sexual activity." Still, there was lots of rubbing and touching
(usually late at night and on the dance floor). Again, we weren't
particularly put off by the behavior and no one was pushy.
Aside from the poor accommodations, we were also disappointed to find
out that we were unable to use the gym facilities without paying for the
privilege. That seemed a bit excessive, seeing as how were were there
for 4 days.
All in all, the trip was fun and the weather good. The facilities could
use a good sprucing up and we were hoping for more open, green spaces,
but such was not the case. The guests were friendly (we didn't
experience the cliques that other people seemed to) and no one was out
of hand. We decided that we'd like to try Caliente next, which we
understand is just up the road and a much, much nicer facility.
I hope this helps anyone considering a trip. I'd be happy to correspond
with anyone interested.

Just back from Paradise and enjoyed it
quite a bit. We too found the place a bit "clicky" but met some very
nice people. We also became Associate members while we were there. I was
great spending so much time in the nude. The DJ could have been better
but the night club was a lot of fun. We did run into some very predatory
guys one night who harassed a few women and wouldn't take no for an
answer. Those guys were left after being rejected or were tossed by the
management.
I must admit that some of the "long timers" made visitors feel unwelcome
like we were intruding in there homes. The up-level volleyball games
were interesting considering most of these folks would not be considered
athletes outside of the pool. It's funny to see people who play everyday
complain about the play of people who play once every 5 years. All I can
say to that is "get a life", step out of the pool and onto a tennis or
basketball court, baseball field, ski slope, golf course or something
that takes actual athletic ability!
All in all Pardise is a great place and we'll be back.

This was our first visit to a nude resort
in over 25 years...enjoyed our stay, room nice and food delicious but
people tended to be "clicky"...if they didn't know you they didn't want
to talk to you....stayed in their "little group of friends with no room
for newcomers"...we ended up joining the resort anyway but will probably
not visit here again for a long time....will try out Paradise Valley
since it is closer to home.

We spent four nights and experienced
Hurrican Francis! The staff did everything possible to make the
situation better. No electricity and no running water. But the staff set
up a small breakfast (no charge) and were available as much as they
could be.
We loved this resort and enjoyed it very much. We attended our first
hurricane party and met many great people. We will go back many times.
We especially liked the friendliness of the other visitors. Very easy to
meet and talk with. We have been to most of the top clothing-optional
resorts in California and Florida and, for whatever reason, people here
are just nicer.

I can't imagine taking my family to visit any other resort. We foud
the staff to be very polite, well trained, and more than ready to
accomodate our every need. Paradise has something for everyone. You can
relax poolside, or play water vollyball, or go fishing at lake side. I
felt ten years of stress melt away immediately. I want to thank all the
staff for a wonderful time. We look forward to our next visit.

We LOVE this place, it offers luxury or simple nature activities and
surroundings. The staff is all very attentive and pleasant. We go as
often as we can. Paradise is a "Slice of Heaven". We highly recommend
this for couples........

Nice facilities but the hotel is VERY difficult to contact by
telephone. We constantly get an answer phone message. And the front desk
seems uncertain at times about the charges or bills.
But once situated in we always have a great time and recommend it.
